ScaleConcept to detail
A museum is an identity experienced at full scale.
These projects extend beyond individual exhibitions. Visitor routes, display structures, colours, typography, furniture and signs were developed as connected parts of a spatial narrative — a framework able to hold changing collections and different kinds of stories.
01 · Nurmes Museum
A museum with
many voices
The identity moves between scales: from the entrance wall and reception desk to exhibitions, object labels and applications. A restrained dark framework gives historic material room to speak while strong typographic moments orient the visitor.

02 · Keuruu Museum
One identity,
from sign to space
The museum concept brings together a graphic identity, a flexible reception and gallery environment, and a clear relationship with the existing building. The visual system is designed to remain present without competing with changing exhibitions.

03 · Olavi Martikainen — The Last Bohemian
An artist’s world,
translated into space
The exhibition at Pielinen Museum brought Olavi Martikainen’s distinctive art and life story into a dark, theatrical environment. Freestanding structures, enlarged fragments of paintings and restrained graphics created a rhythm between intimate encounters and wider views. The physical exhibition was extended by a mobile digital layer built with Actlator.

The connecting idea
The strongest museum design does not sit around the content. It helps the content become legible, memorable and alive.
